Who Am I?

I’d like to start this blog with an apology. I didn’t get this published for you by the 5th of the month as I normally do. I am sorry.

There are times in our lives when we forget who we are. We forget whose we are, or even what it means to be a child of God. That is where I’ve been. I let all of those negative voices that aren’t God’s voice bounce around in my head as if they were true. I gave them space and probably even gave them nourishment.

A while back, I created a list of 40 bible references for a prayer group. Each one expresses who God says we are. This list randomly appeared on the passenger seat of my car the other day, and it was exactly what I needed to snap me out of it. (Thank you, Lord, for reaching out to me.)

I figure I am not the only person that this happens to from time to time, so I thought I’d share them with you. I plan on reading them out loud for the next 30 days as a reminder of what the Voice of Truth sounds like. I hope you join me.
