Advent is a season for pondering, a time of drawing our focus to the Sacred, preparing our hearts for birth. Sadly, it’s also the time of the year when we are apt to be the busiest and most preoccupied.

Pope Emeritus Benedict wrote, “It is only in quiet and stillness that like the Blessed Virgin Mary we can ponder and reflect on the works of God in our lives and learn to treasure them in our hearts.” Your faithfulness is what has drawn you to pray with us these Advent days.
